What does Summer mean to me ??visiting with family --either with my mom or family reunion
riding bikes
playing in the sprinklers
no schedule
having fun
going over some school stuff
reading books
cleaning the house
watching more tv
going to the park and playing
laundry
hanging with friends
making memories with my kids
being silly
family going to Avila Beach for Shaved Ice
Family Vacation to somewhere
Reading
going to play at the kids school
singing its the summer of love by the B-52's
I have many fond memories of riding my bike and going to Great America while I was growing up. I remember not having a schedule and hanging out with neighbors and friends. We did a lot of swim parties growing up and those were some great memories.

Great list! I too enjoy many of those things during summer. So far this summer I have been able to do lost of reading which is sooooo nice!!

ReplyDeleteLooks like a blast. We have spent most of our summer wet. Guess that's the life of a swim team family who lives on the lake. Guess I'd better get used to it!
