The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. I would love to see all the action come alive on the big screen!--The Book Vixen
The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. I know a movie is currently in the works, but I'd wish they'd hurry it up! --Natalie Mindful Musing
I just read the book Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen, and I saw the whole thing in my head like a movie. I think it would be fantastic. --Andye Reading Teen
The Hunger Games, definitely. The Red Tent, Artemis Fowl, Good Omens, the Anita Blake series, so many more. Pretty much any book I've ever even liked, I'd want to see what Hollywood makes of it.--Jennifer reading Tequila
Maybe Hunger Games but I also have a vision of the book in my head and sometimes I don't like when the movie encroaches on that. I would like to see a few of my PNR books made into a TV series. I think a movie is too short to tell a lot those stories, you could develop the characters/storyline better in a TV series.--Karen FWIW
I don't really watch movies, so I cannot say that I have any book that I'd like to see as a movie. However, I think that Lara Adrian's MIDNIGHT BREEDS or JR Ward's BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD books would translate well on the big screen.--Jen twimom
I'm interested to see how The Hunger Games gets translated to the big screen.--Emily what book is that
Kelli: I want to see Graceling and The Luxe series as movies. I'd also love to see a miniseries similar to The Pillars of the Earth for Ken Follett's World Without End.
Natalie: The Help (which is happening!)--So rather reading
I know that the movie is never going to measure up to the book.
Oooh! Would love to see Outlander made into a movie. Hasn't it been optioned before?
ReplyDeleteI believe that it was optioned but nothing ever came of it. I would want to see this , but I think because there is so much history. I just checked her website and there is a musical.
ReplyDeleteWhat great picks!! I think everyone is excited to see what they do with the Hunger Games..:)
