Every Other day Book Review

Kali lives for the hunt. While at school one day , she makes friends with Skylar who is the school slut and a psychic. She isn't a slut, she just becomes enemy because she flirted with the wrong person.

She meets Bethany who has a tattoo of a chubaracaba, and takes the tattoo from her. Kali wants to live to sunrise, and hope that it goes away. While the thing is in her , she meets Zev. She goes to the ice rink with Bethany and Skylar to try and get rid of it.  While there she fights a dragon, and the preternatural team comes to help clean up .

Kali wants to tell her friends the truth but can't tell them anything. She also meets Skylar's brothers.

There are still some mysteries to solve, and love that Kali is trying to make friends, and she reminded me at times of being Buffy. There was more about friendships, then about the romance. Family is important, and she learns who she can trust when the chips are down. There are lots of secrets around Kali.
