The Next Big Thing Book Review

Ruth is a writer and also lives with her Grandmother. She also had a serious accident while she was young. She has grown up watching alot of TV.

She along wither her Grandmother tries to make it in Hollywood. She becomes a writer/assisant on a show. She writes one show with Rob , and falls in love with him. Her Grandmother finds love and is able to find work as being an extra on the shows.

She tries to find new work , and also tries writing her own TV show. She has the back up of her bosses both named Dave. She falls for one of them. She writes her show based on her life.

I thought this book was Meh and not like her other books which I adored. It was great to learn about all the behind the scenes of what goes into making a TV show.
Also there was alot of memories which did add to the story but I think it ruined the pacing of the story. It was great to understand why the loved shows or why they became a writer. It just felt jumpy. I guess I am saying that I prefer her older books.
