Breeders Book Review @Kismet

Riley is a girl hiding out with her family. Her brother has gone into town for supplies , and doesn't come back. She dresses as a boy and tries to rescue him. She is known as a Bender. Her mama and aunt get taken by Bandits. She and her brother Ethan are left alive. Clay who helped her in town with her brother is helping her stay alive.

Clay is who she trusts to rescue her aunt . Her aunt is in town, and being kept as a prisoner. Riley decides to go after and rescue her mom from the Breeders. Riley is attracted to Clay , but she can't tell him that she is girl for fear that she will be turned over to the Breeders. Clay has some secrets too.

Clay likes to read and has been working on Romeo and Juliet. Ethan is really into Superman. Riley gets taken captive and learns more about the Breeders, and the care of them.

This is dystopian book but I noticed that it was also cowboy like with lawless. I don't I would have picked up this book on my own. I did enjoy the action and it was interesting how this world changed and why they needed Breeders. I did love the romance between Clay & Riley. I also loved that there were books mentioned through out it. Maybe I am dystopian burnout . This was a fast read , and family is interesting puzzle piece added to the story.

Book Review= B
