The mortal instruments movie review

I finally saw the movie. It was okay , but a bit long with the fights. Okay Valentine stole the movie.
Jace, Isabella, clarey were okay actors. Magus was monotone, and so not what I pictured. I think it followed the book okay.

Dh thought that this was a tv series. It was meh to me, and so glad I waited to see this on tv.

I am glad that I waited to see this on TV, and this did go by the book. It had been a long time since I read the book.

Divergent Movie Review

Thoughts:

my dd has been more excited than me to see this movie. We got to the showing , and waited for all the previews. The movie theater wasn't very packed.

The movie finally begins and I agree that this was a good book to movie adaptation. I loved the characters, and the seeing the choosing ceremony. Theo ( Four) made the movie in my humble opinion. I kept waiting for her to learn his name, and I expected more kissing.  I did enjoy the Ferris Wheel , and zip lining. I thought the adults in the movie were excellent. Tris was okay actress .

My dd loved how Four was afraid of heights, and the ending. Overall she enjoyed this movie and it lived up to her expectations of reading the series.

I might see the next movie , and really want to see Marcus .

Beverly Lewis " The Confession " Movie review

There were many trailers before the movie even started

This was directed by Michael Landon Jr

I have read her books before but not this series

This was done by Hallmark , and it hard Adrian Paul ( Highlander) and Sherry Springfield ( E.R)  in this movie


Review:
Katie Lapp is busy working in a diner and trying to find her birth mom. Her mom is dying of a cancer.  Her husband has a gambling problem and owes alot of money. Laura  decides to change to will and have all of the money go towards the foundation. Her husband bring back her daughter back home before her death. Katie goes in search of her mom, and ends up working there. She does a coffee date with Justin who works for the Foundation. Fake Katie is trying to get the money for Dylan . There are some surprises through out this movie.

This movie is very clean and perfect for the family. I think the message behind this movie is lying and the harm it can do to loved ones. I admit I do love to see the Amish movies .

Warm Bodies Movie Review

 I admit that I haven't read this book , but I always heard such good things about this book.

R is a zombie , and only grunts. He sees Julie and totally becomes attracted to her, and wants to keep her safe. He also listens to music where he lives at the airport. He has a really good friend in which they hunt together. R and his other zombie friends were out hunting when they found Julie and her friends. This is R tale  , and there are some changes that happen with the other zombies when they connect.

My DH was okay with this movie, but I enjoyed the romance and could see the parallel between Romeo and Juliet. Very cute movie , and I think my kids would like it. I loved John Malkovich in this movie.

Brave Book & Movie review

Merida is the only daughter. Her mom has been training her to become the perfect princess. She is a tomboy, and she loves to shoot her arrows.

When she finds out that there are going to three suitors for her hands in marriage. She doesn't want any part of it. She wants to change her fate. She chooses all the different men from the families to do archery. She decides to change her fate and fight for her own hand. But in doing this risking the wrath of the other clans.

Merida follows the blue wisps and is led to cottage. There she sees many bears and has to purchase something to get a wish. She makes to wish that her mom will change.

Eleanor does change into a bear . Merida and her mom work together to leave the castle , and find the old woman.

This book was great to see a mother and daughter working together. I loved Merida hair. I loved that this showcased a family ie Incrediables . I loved that they both changed and both learned to listen to each other. I find this movie and book to just as good as children's book I was reading to my kids. I loved that she was Brave in her choices and Brave. I cried a couple times during the movie.

Harry Potter & Half Blood Prince

I got to see an advanced screening of this movie/book. It starts right off where last movie ended. I have read the whole series and now rereading it again. So I knew what was going to happen because I read the book.

It did seem to follow the book. I loved seeing Draco Malfoy and Snape. I love the bad boys. I loved the music. I loved that team effort with Hermione and Ron. I loved the graphics.

It is a family film. I laughed and cried in 2 1/2 hours. I wanted to see more romance between Harry and Ginny/ Ron & Hermione.

I got to see the movie through Sacramento momslikeme. Yeah. Security was tight to watch this movie. I gave my feedback to Warner Brothers about my thoughts on the Movie. I was able to chat with Hipmom and Liz. I give this movie 4 out 5 stars.
