Beverly Lewis " The Confession " Movie review

This is the 2nd movie in this series

There were many trailers before the movie even started
--Abel's Field --looks pretty good and Kevin Sorbo
-- Soul Surfer-- we have watched this movie many times
This was directed by Michael Landon Jr

I have read her books before but not this series

This was done by Hallmark , and it hard Adrian Paul ( Highlander) and Sherry Springfield ( E.R)  in this movie

Review:
Katie Lapp is busy working in a diner and trying to find her birth mom. Her mom is dying of a cancer.  Her husband has a gambling problem and owes alot of money. Laura  decides to change to will and have all of the money go towards the foundation. Her husband bring back her daughter back home before her death. Katie goes in search of her mom, and ends up working there. She does a coffee date with Justin who works for the Foundation. Fake Katie is trying to get the money for Dylan . There are some surprises through out this movie.

This movie is very clean and perfect for the family. I think the message behind this movie is lying and the harm it can do to loved ones. I admit I do love to see the Amish movies .

Blog Confession --Talking Book Conferences

BEA, ALA. Have you ever been before? If you've been before, share your experiences; both pro & con. If you haven't gone before, do you participate in online events like Armchair BEA? Do you hope to go one day? Do you feel too intimidated to go? Are you jealous of the big book hauls and tweets during the events?

No I haven't been at to either of them. I did buy tickets to both at different times.

But I have participated in Armchair Bea , and yes I would love to go in the future. If you asked me a couple years ago I would have green with envy, but since I made friends with bloggers who have gone or going. I ask nicely if they get me books from my wishlist. Interestingly enough my list of book wants has gone down each year. I am also happy that I friends that share their books with me . In fact I made a very dear friend when I asked on twitter to borrow some books, and she has been sharing her books with me ever since . I do share my books with her too.

I think I enjoy the bookish community more and the friendships I have made. I have many more books to read and found many new authors .

Thanks Karen and Pam for this topic

The Star Attraction book Review

Sophie  is a publicist in Los Angeles and has been in relationship with Jacob ( Jake ) for the past two years. She finally gets to be in charge a popular star Billy Fox . There is an attraction with Billy.

She has a good friend in Izzy who is already married and has a child. She becomes more frustrated with her Jake , and flirty with Billy.

There was lots of references to stars, TV shows, and even a mention of Fifty shades of Grey ( which I have never read). There was references to sex scenes but they usually faded to black. This was cute fast read , and enjoyed this chick lit. There was even a shout out to the author's soap Opera Days of our Lives mentioned. It was interesting to see the publicist side of the job. I think the other book I read with a publicist was Brenda Novak series which I adore. Through out the book , there are some 80's movies mentioned too.

Neptune's Tears

Zee is an intern empath, who helps heal those that are sick. She meets David one day , and also helps rescue some more people.

David isn't being completely honest about many things. This is her first time being pierced or in love.

Zee takes care of older lady who helped create some Neptune diamonds earrings. Zee is is able to comfort her , and through her we learn more about this new world.

This was a science fiction  romance. I enjoyed this new world , but I didn't really connect with Zee or David. I found that it was a insta love . I did enjoy actually seeing this take place in London.

Cover Reveal -- A Little Too Far

Have you ever gone just a little too far?
Lexie Banks has.
Yep. She just had mind-blowing sex with her stepbrother. In her defense, she was on the rebound, and it’s more of a my-dad-happened-to-marry-a-woman-with-a-super-hot-son situation. But still, he’s been her best friend and confidant for better part of the last few years…and is so off limits. It’s a good thing she’s leaving in two days for a year abroad in Rome. But even thousands of miles away, Lexie can’t seem to escape trouble. Raised Catholic, she goes to Confession in hopes of alleviating some of her guilt…and maybe not burning in hell. Instead, she stumbles out of the confessional right into Alessandro Moretti, a young and very easy on the eyes deacon…only eight months away from becoming a priest. As Lexie and Alessandro grow closer, and when Alessandro’s signals start changing despite his vow of celibacy, she doesn’t know what to think. She’s torn between falling in love with the man she shouldn’t want and the man she can’t have. And she isn’t sure how she can live with herself either way.

Burning Book Review

Ben is leaving for UCSD  and his town is dying . Lala along with her family are coming to be near Burning Man and give people their fortunes. Lala is engaged to be with Romeo and , she has a dowry . But things change during this week for both of them.

Lala starts questioning her freedom, and is very attracted to Ben. Ben and his friends come in to have Ben's fortune told to him by the Tarot cards. Ben is also struggling with his brother being gay. Lala wants to not be the obedient daughter any more.

All of this takes place during the week of Burning man , and a poem is brought up by Burns. Things change for both of them , and I enjoyed both of their Point of Views. I loved that Lala knew her own mind, and the consequences of what would happen. They are both on paths to figure out what they both want out of life.
