Lia is to married to someone to keep the peace. She gets prepped up with ink with a crown . She runs away to try and be normal . While working at the tavern , 2 boys come into it and they are both attracted to her. Rafe and the assassin  are their names.

One of them is a prince and the other wants to kill her. Lia also stole a book the history of their people. She does care about her family , and we see her brother.

She is chosen and while out she gets glimpses into her true potential. She grows along the way and realizes what she must do. She is attracted to both boys and has moments with both of them. One of them takes her to his leader. Lia changes so much , and she becomes what she is meant to be..A leader.

I loved the world building and the different point of views. The book was great with the romance and fighting. I can't wait to see what happens next with Lia. I can see a triangle but I hope that it doesn't happen.

Edie is smart girl . She had a very tough year , and was made fun of by other kids. She plans to kill herself, but Kain offers her a way out. She is able to make 3 wishes.

She wishes for Beauty  & does feel an attraction to Kain. She gets beautiful , and able to get back at the Teflon crowd. She also learns more about who she made a deal with.
Her life starts changing & making friends with the Teflon crowd. She makes more wishes, but loses something very dear to her.

This was an interesting world and I loved the mythology behind it. I loved the magic and nerdiness mixed in. I can't wait to see what happens next with Edie & Kain.

Two girls are raised in different places . Najwa is a jinni , and . Zayele  is a princess. One girl makes a wish , and their lives are changed forever. 
Both girls end up liking a boy , and they also learn about the history  about jinni. Someone very dear to them dies. 

This world was amazing , and loved that each girl had a very different personality. One was fun, and spirited, and the other was polite. This book reminded me of freaky Friday.

What I have been up to lately part 2

What I have been up lately

I have read some amazing books but we have been renovating our house from the bedrooms to the bathrooms, and kitchen.

The books I have read and loved are snow like ashes, kiss of deception, falling into place, and the perilous sea. I also finished the caller.
All of these books were amazing. I just haven't had the time to type up reviews.

I am also going back to girls camp as the capers leader. That means I make sure the camp gets clean. That's why I haven't posted much lately.

I did finish ruin and rising ...that was a good ending to the series.

Mia wakes up drunk  at some guys place. She is on her way to Intern at her new job at Boomerang. Ethan is the guy , who is also going to his new job too. They are both interning at the same place.

Mia has a famous artist mom, and wants to make her mark on the world. Ethan loves soccer , and helping the boys he is coaching. They are both attracted to each other , but can't since the dating policy. Adam is the young boss, and a friend of Mia family.

Mia and Ethan also go on dates for their jobs, but they are still falling for one another. Ethan also runs into his past relationship. Mia also a great family relationship.

This book is cute and tension between them is hot. This book is told in Mia and Ethan point of views. Also each chapter had a dating question. I loved seeing the romance happen between , and some of the other staff. I can't wait to read the next book , and I hope Adam finds romance. Candy & Cookie made me laugh. I also love the romance didn't happen right away. Also I loved that this seemed realistic and normal people worrying about bills.

Charlie is the youngest of the all the kids. Her brothers are always watching over her. Brendan is the neighbor boy and always over at their home. She got a ticket , and now her dad wants her to get a job and pay off it off. She is a tomboy and loves running and sports.

She starts liking her job but doesn't tell her boss about her mom being dead. She slowly starts making friends and wearing make up.

One night she can't sleep so she goes to the fence and Brendan is there . During these late night chats , they are being real with each other. Many things start changing during this time. She goes on a date with Evan, and Brendan acts jealous. Charlie starts questioning more things with her mom and her memories.

I loved this book and the brothers were awesome. This was a pretty fast read, and I loved the romance that happened with Charlie.
