The Bride Collector -- Book Review
FBI special agent Brad Raines is facing his most complex case yet. A Denver serial killer has murdered a string of beautiful young woman , leaving a bridal veil at each scene, and he picking up his pace. Unable to crack the case, Raines appeals for help to a most unusual source: residents of the Center for Well Being and Intelligence, a private psychiatric institution for mentally ill people who are extraordinary gifted.
Its there he meets Paradise, a young woman who witnessed her father murder her family and barley escaped his hand. Diagnosed with schizophrenia , Paradise may also have an extra sensory gift: the ability to experience the final moments of a person's life when she touches the dead body. ( Back of the book)
I did read his previous book of The Boneman's Daughter and it was okay.
New book and new characters.
Brad-- FBI
Paradise- girl at institution
Quinton-- bad guy
It was okay story but there was alot mentioning of God's will and love. I think the romance between happened too fast between Brad and Paradise. I did like that Brad thought out of the box to solve a crime that was very weird. Brad was also attracted to Nicki too.
Quinton takes Nicki captive and has always been in love with Paradise. Paradise has to rescue Brad from the Bride Collector. Paradise also has a bipolar agoraphobia
I did like the cover. There were times I didn't want to finish it but there was a part of me that wanted to find out what happens.
Book Review=3
