Lily and Mel are now separated. Melly is now being trained by Sebastian as a vampire, and less autistic  , and more normal.

Lily and Carter are trying to survive against the ticks. They are having disagreements over her doing raids. Carter wants to help others & Lily is taking care of Mckenna. Carter and Mel are both betrayed by someone in their lives. Also things aren't what they seem . Carter and Lily did meet some others surviving in Utah.

This book was good, and there were some twists I could see coming. I did enjoy Mel growing and changing as a vampire, but I felt that autism slowing down or being fixed was interesting. I loved how both girls are strong , and they both think of each other. I did enjoy the shout outs to Star Trek and Hunger Games. This book has a lot of twists and turns.

Isaiah is living with Noah , and needs to do his part for rent. He decides to do some drag racing and meets an angel. Rachel has panic attacks , but when she drives her car , she feels free.  They both end up meeting for a race. There is some trouble there , and the cops got word that that there was a race. Rachel & Isaiah  have an instant connection over cars.
Rachel's family is still grieving over Colleen , and does many charitable work for leukemia. She loves working on cars, and knows her cars information. She also has 4 very protective older brothers.

Isaiah  wants to get a job and become certified to work with cars. His mom just made a reappearance back into his life.

Rachel & Isaiah  are very hot together. I love that he stood by her side and stood up for her, and even took her debt. He starts falling for his angel , and starts to slowly change. Rachel also makes in a friend in Abby. Rachel is trying to become stronger person, and she has many family obligations. Her family life isn't as perfect as it seems. Isiah really sees her and she really sees him.

I didn't like the ending to this book as much as the others, and I was glad to see Noah, Echo, Beth, and Ryan. I was glad to see that the next book is going to be about West's story. The ending was realistic , and I loved seeing the family coming together. I loved the sexy times with Rachel & Isaiah. I hope that Abby gets her happy ending. But there is A LOT going on in this book.

Mini Reviews -- Captive -- Frozen-- Stir Me UP

Sarah is a Searcher and hasn't gone all the way with Jeremy. She goes to scout out a Castle and meets Tristan. He is alone in the castle with Guardians. This book was tame for a erotic in my humble opinion. I loved that this had more of plot and there were many sexy times. This book was great to see some of the other characters from the first book in the series. It also made mention of the future :)

This book was a mish mash of so many different paranormal. This also took place in the future. Nat finds a clue and is trying to find the blue. She goes along with the rag tag team, and also slowly finds love. This book was all over the place .

Cami wants to be a chef in her dad's restaurant. She works LONG hours and even going to high school. Julian is a nephew of her new step mom. Julian is there recovering after his tours for serving this country. He doesn't get along with Cami. There is some attraction between them, but she is also dating someone else . I did enjoy this book , but the working hours became a turn off.

Claire is a long line of Voodoo priestess. She is also a first born. She has also been secretly dating Xander. She doesn't really believe in this stuff at all.

Both of their parents are part of the Guild. Many of the members have shops to purchase magical properties. A lady comes into the shop , and asks for a death item & she knows Claire's name. Claire starts trying some magic , and makes friends with the other first borns. She and her friends try to solve the mystery of a certain spell.

All of this takes in New Orleans, and  it made me think of Rachel . I also loved that parents were involved.This is also my first time reading this author , and I enjoyed the world building and use of magic.

Zoe and Olivia are best friends , and they love to dance Ballet. They both end both being cut from the program. Zoe doesn't want anything to dance ever again. Olivia ends up getting Leukemia . Zoe does have some romance between a friend of theirs.

This book was about the friendship and the responses that happened with all the family and friends. This was a sad book, but loved how the girls friendship made this book.

He is more than interested in Kate . They both banter and there is a instant connection & attraction. Kate does mix business with pleasure and doesn't date her clients. Kate tries to find someone for Slade .

This book was very cute , and realistic with mention of TV shows and movies. I enjoyed that something from the other series was brought into this one. I would like to see this book as a series with Wolfe & Izzy & Gen  & David . I think that that book will have fireworks. This book was a fast read.
