Anna and Ethan are doing well, but things start happening with both of them. Thomas is still after Anna .

Ethan and Anna go with their families to a secluded island because they have both have been hit by someone. It's for their safety that are away from everyone. Anna is also getting better with a gun. Ethan and Anna both are taken captive along with teeny. Thomas needs them for the last part of his plan. More secrets come out , things aren't what they seem.

I enjoyed this book. There was many twists and turns. I loved the location of this book. I loved that we learn more about Thomas, and about another character. This book had  a lot of action. I loved Anna's rules.

Cricket   is on a pause with Zach . The year fast forwards with a better friendship with Julie. She also gets into the college of her choice, and her mom is starting to date again. She finds a job again in Nantucket.

During the summer she hangs with Jules, works very hard, and even hangs out with Zach, and she meets someone new. She also finds a bucket list to complete. This summer seems to the summer of change.

This is her summer of growth and many changes in relationships with many different people. I can't tell if this is the end of the series. I did love the ending .

Hello . Today I have Corey on the blog discussing Dinner with me . All of her books involve some  food. I didn't realize this til I had read her book Life by Committee.

Seafood Pasta: (from LIFE BY COMMITTEE) Italian classic. Al dente noodles and fresh New England shellfish. Loaded with garlic. Second helpings free and encouraged. 

Eclairs: (From RULES FOR STEALING STARS). The perfect dessert. Imagine you are on the French Riviera. Served with a fancy pineapple drink.

Spicy Mac and Cheese, Served with a side of fresh guacamole: (from MAKING PRETTY): The best in Mexican cuisine. Served with fresh tortillas. No mild option, only spicy allowed.

Plain Cheese Pizza: (from RULES FOR STEALING STARS) Great for a sad night. To be eaten with sisters, while watching a movie.

Shrimp Cocktail: (from MAKING PRETTY): served on cocktail napkins, snuck in from a fancy party. White wine stolen from the party is also available.

Tabitha is in love with Joe, but he is also seeing his girlfriend. So yes they are both cheaters. Her mom and dad both own the Cozy Tea in town. Her dad still loves to do weed, and loves to get high. Her parents are both very hippie, and she was an oops baby. They are still together , and her mom is pregnant again.

Tabitha loves to read books, and her dad gets her a marked up Secret Garden book. In the book , she finds out about this website called Life by Committee.

Life by Committee is an online site where secrets are revealed, and assignments are given. Tabitha decides to change up her life and share her secrets. She ends up doing different challenges , and comes to realize some things. She also doesn't have many girl friends. Her relationship with Joe is becoming more questionable.


I thought that this book thought provoking about giving up on making choices, and letting a committee decide your life. I loved that she was trying to change her life. I loved the insight by Zed. I loved that Tabitha did feel guilty for even liking Joe , because of the girl friend. I was trying to figure out who was behind the website, and who would be the keeper of the secrets. I have my suspicions , and I think that Joe was a tool for dating two girls. I loved her friends . I also enjoyed Devon too. There was a scene at the end that was prefect and I loved it.

Lily Graves has some secrets . Sarah is her best friend, and she knows some of them. She and her family own and work the mortuary in the town. Her mother Ruth is dating the sheriff.

Lily is goth looking all the time. She gets into a fight with Erin. Erin is popular, and she ends up dead. Lily is trying to solve the murder.

Many secrets come to light, and many people aren't as they seem. Also the boy who likes Lily and Erin is keeping secrets too.

This is a cute mystery, and loved the family. I did try to figure out who murdered Erin. I loved that she was sarcastic about normal, but she wasn't mean about it.

Rory lives by her Lux . She gets into this prestigious Thedan Academy  , and she finds out that her mother went there also. She also finds out that her mom has some secrets. The school has a partnership with Gnosis.

She gets to the school, and meets North ( a townie) and her room mate is Hershey. Her Lux is still making the many choices for her through out the day. North is a townie who works at the local coffee shop, and helps a local band.

Rory also gets an initiation into a secret club at the school. Through out the book -- Milton's Paradise is brought up , along with free will , choice, and doubt. Rory has to make some tough choices and some secrets come to light.

This book was better than I thought it would be. It also made me realize that having something in your hands is an addiction. I admit that I don't play games on Facebook because I know that they can become addictive. I know because I love to play Tetris . I also know with social media and being online can cause a disconnect in relationships. My kids don't have cell phones , nor are they on social media. My kids also have an online time on the computer. I also DON'T always share everything that's really going on here. This book was good because I can see this happening with cell phones & apps.

Wren and Callum are on the run. They end up finding reservation of reboots. Wren is easily accepted as a leader for her time of 178. Callum being a 22 still isn't with the other groups. He is still very tech savvy. Addie is still Wen's best friend.  At the reservation, she see's someone she knew from before.

Wren and Callum are telling about what is happening in their own chapters. This book has many twists and turns. Things aren't what they seem at the reservation. Also Wren and Callum also are having some relationship issues.

This book had it all and many twists and turns. I loved that there were stolen moments among the fighting times. Addie was the comic relief but she also touched upon a deep topic that needed to be addressed. Callum and Wren are the cutest , strongest couple. I love that they were strong, and smart by themselves. They did have their moments. This was a great addition to the series.
