Iolanthe Seabourne is considered the greatest mage of her generation. But she has no idea about this prophecy. Titus is the prince of Elberon and wants to protect her.

She was trying to help out with a wedding , and help her Guardian. Once she calls forth lighting , she meets Titus . She is also being chased by emissaries of Atlantis .

Titus also goes to a school , among his non mage friends. He had a cover already for Iolanthe ..but he wasn't expecting a girl. He has been made aware of the many signs through a book , and his mother. The servants of Bane are chasing after them. Titus will do what ever he can to protect her.

I didn't know what to expect from this book. I wondered since this book was being hyped up, if it would be as good as other high fantasy books out there. Yes this book had magic, and did remind me a bit of Harry Potter . But that's it..this world was different , and I loved that this book made mention of Sleeping Beauty. Iolanthe doesn't want this at all, she would rather hide. She gets to know Titus and they do have a slight attraction , but this book was full of action. I also loved the different Point of Views.

The Bitter Pill Cover Reveal

The truth is a bitter pill...
Rennie Harlow is having a bad year. She had a handsome husband, a good job, and a renovated condo in Chicago. Now, thanks to one "exotically beautiful" paralegal, she’s divorced, faking her way through a writing career, and living above her hypochondriac mother's garage back in Morrisville, the small town she couldn't leave fast enough at eighteen. On top of all of that, she just found Doc Hallacy, the local pharmacist, dead behind his counter. And the worst part is, he's the third body she’s stumbled across this year.

Jake Bristol has lived in Morrisville his whole life. A former bad boy turned sheriff, he doesn’t believe it’s just Rennie’s luck or timing that’s the problem. He thinks she’s too nosy for her own good. The last thing he needs is her messing around with his murder investigation so that she can freelance for the Morrisville Gazette.  But as they both delve deeper into Doc's death, they find that things don't add up. This isn't a robbery gone wrong or the work of a desperate junkie. Someone has a secret they're killing to keep. The only question is—who's next?

Does this sound very good ? I adore anything Stacey writes. Here is the book on Goodreads.

Lexie has the opportunity to go to Italy for College. She has been with Richard for some time, and has been hearing that that he is cheating on her. They finally break up . Her step Brother Trent has always been there for her. She has mind blowing sex with Trent , and then leaves for Italy.

She is mixed up in her feelings for Trent . She is learning and loving school. She decides to confess her sins to the Priest, and he has her do penance. She meets Reverend Alessandro .

Lexie tries to put her feelings on hold for Trent. She gets to know Alessandro better, and finds someone to talk to. She is finally able to put her feelings into perspective with both men.

This book was hot , and I wanted to know more about Alessandro. I stayed up late reading this book, and enjoyed all the smexy times. I enjoyed this book much more than her Personal Demons book series. I think that she should stick with adult writing. I would love to see stories of Lexie friends too. I found the author tackled the tough subject very well.

Elise Dembowski has been the butt of every joke. She tried to commit suicide a while back. She finds a club, and makes new friends. She also sorta finds a new love. She has also found online diary of words written by her. ( But she hasn't written them, but she has felt like that). Elise also finds out that she enjoy's DJing & she is slowly breaking out of her shell.

I can't put into the words how I felt reading this book. This book would have been great when I was teenager because I felt like Elise in high school. I was always looking in with my friendships . I also had to deal with mean girls at church. This book spoke to me on so many levels.

Olivia Taylor Jones is the rich daughter & in high society, and she is engaged to James. She is thinking about going back to college. When she find outs that she was adopted & daughter of murders , she leaves town. She also ends up breaking up with James.

Olivia/Eden gets a lead to Cainesville , and she is looking for a job , and a place to stay. She goes there to get away from the paparazzi, and try to figure out her life. In the town there are many gargoyles and it appears that the elders are in charge of the town.

Olivia is able to see Omens . Some are good and some are bad. Gabriel is enigmatic , and he doesn't have too many personal relationships. Gabriel used to defend Olivia's mom. Olivia hires Gabriel to help with the solving the case , and reasons why her parents are in jail. Rose is Gabriel's aunt & she has the sight. Olivia also befriends a writer in the town.

In this book there is mention of gargoyles, trolls, fairies. Cainesville reminded me of Written in Red . Which I adored alot. This book had very little sexy times, and I loved being in all the different heads besides Olivia. This book was slow , but this town grew on me. I can't wait to see what happens next with Olivia/Eden & Gabriel.
I have enjoyed Kelley's Other world series , but I think I love this one more. I loved that this book had many different paranormal aspects .

FreakBoy Book Review

Brendan is having an identity crisis. Vanessa is his girl friend and very much a tom boy. They are both on the wrestling team.

Angel is a transgendered  working at the center for LGBT youth. Angel has had a very rough life.

All these youth all come together in different ways.

I loved that his book was told in verse and the many point of views. I could feel Brendan's pain and his questioning. I do hope that this book can help someone who is questioning their orientation. I don't know of anyone personally who has changed their gender. I do know and understand that this can be serious cause of why kids commit suicide.
