 I read this book and really enjoyed the message about becoming one's authentic self . My daughter also read this book too and enjoyed the messages of charting her own path .

Penelope receives transfusions and very delicate. She has had a crush on gabe for the longest time. Carter is her brother and in the family business. They are both part of the body transplant Crime families. She finds out some of Carter secrets , and she also wants some real answers.
She is going to run away with Gabe , and she is dealing with the loss of her brother Carter and other family members.
She is on her own surviving , and starts experiencing life. She also meets and falls in love with someone.

This was a good story and it was the Princess and the Pea retelling . She does end up growing up but it took a while. I didn't like the insta romance. .

I wanted to like this story and romance but this book seemed to be more about revenge and very hate filled. I do think that this book was different in that the narrator   talked to the reader. I did enjoy the romance between both people and at separate times. I just wished that I loved it more , but it was hate filled for me.

 Sam is OCD and this year she wants to be different. She has been friends with the crazy eights since kindergarten. She is feeling on the outside , and no one knows about her OCD.
She meets Caroline who helps her break out of her shell. She joins a poetry  club and isn't welcomed at first. She also hurt AJ ( the guy in charge). She realizes what she has done to AJ and apologizes to him. She also starts writing poems which help with the OCD. Sam is also a swimmer  and this helps her out too.
Sam makes mistakes but she also talks to her therapist  who helps her. She also starts sliding away from her friends and making new ones and finds love. AJ asks her to be blunt & even explains about his songs.

This book was amazing and I learned about OCD and more about their thinking. I loved the romance aspect of this book and the many wonderful  poems through out this book.

Cadia wells has been taking care of her family for the past 3 years since her mom's death. She goes to the camp ground with her friends. She meets Noah and Matt who are driving the states. She finds an attraction to Noah and they start kissing. She decides to go with them to their next place with Lindsay. She is also attracted to Matt too. Some of her friends end up getting hurt. She also goes to a psychic  who gives her a reading. . Many of these things end up coming to pass. Arcadia has to make some tough choices of who she trusts.

Wow what a fast moving book. Arcadia didn't always make the best choices during this book. I can see why she needed a break. I loved that this book had memories mixed through the story. I also loved the romance with one of the boys. This author has become an auto read for me.

He finds her and he wants to woo her , but she has changed. She is still heart broken over his leaving. Dom hasn't married Jaime yet but they do play an important role with these two.
Celie and Joss have communication issues , and he has plans for them. He wants to be the hero , but the princess has recued herself and they both end up saving each other.

I adore this new series and loved the romance between them. I wanted to smack Joss a couple of times just to make sure that he talked things out. I loved that they both changed.

Grace is very far from home. She is also from a music family. She chooses to go to school in Korea. She gets a room mate named Sophie, and she doesn't get along with her brother Jason. Jason happens to part of a band and very famous.

Jason has a messed up family just like Grace. He is writing a song  and she helps him with it. She does has some music abilitiy but not playing a thing. Grace does keep in contact with her family through emails and texts.

Things slowly change for them over the course of the year. She slowly starts to fall in love with him. He is also tutoring her in Korean.

Very cute romance and I stayed up late finishing this one. I did get a Anna and the French kiss vibe from this book. I did enjoy the Kpop and Kdrama's through out this book. I even learned some Korean words too.

Lyric has some secrets . She also lives near Coney Island where some Alpha's came up almost 3 years ago and they will be going to school with them. Bex is her best friend and she is having some family issues. Lyric helps her out along with Fathom who is the prince. Fathom becomes her friend, and they help each other out.

There is some romance and I loved seeing the family support. I do hope that there is another book in this series. I stayed up late reading this book , and it was so much better than I thought it would be.

This is the 2nd book in the series . Wow what a great 2nd book and no slump. I did enjoy this mystery and I can't wait to see how it ends. I loved that they are working on music and their relationship along with college choices.

Ana and Zak don't get along. Ana is uptight and very charmed life. But her home life isn't perfect and because of her sister's mistake , she can't do anything. Her brother is also on the quiz team. Zak doesn't want to be on the team, but he ends up making friends with ana's brother. Ana and Zak end up chasing her brother through out the night at a comic convention. During the night , their feelings change for one another and they end up getting into some trouble. This story happens over 1 day and night and I loved Ana was smart and she ended up loosening up , and Zak ended up having some goals.
Very cute book and fast read

She finds out that Lennie lives there too & they aren't getting along. She finds a hidden room with books and begins talking with someone. Her brother is also having some autism issues.
Things aren't what they seem , and I loved the growth that Ivy makes with her family, friends, and even Lennie. Cute romance and it did bring up some serious issues about food, being poor, getting food from a food bank, and even autism.

.wow this book is very good with the twists and that ending. Quin is a closer for those that have lost someone. This assignment is different , and things aren't what they seem. Deacon is her ex partner but they are good friends. Aaron is her partner when they are out on assignments. Marie is the main handler to both of them. Quinlan takes all those memories and sometimes loses herself in the job.

This was a good mash up of fairy tales and the wizard of oz. Dot grows up during this story and does find love. She even makes friends with someone. I can't wait to see how this ends up.

Maya Henry loves to sing and is in band. Jesse Scott is a country singer and she gets to shadow him for a day. During the day it becomes like a Ferris Bueller's day off . She gets to know him better , and he learns about her. She tries new things and even gets to accomplish something.
After the shadow day , she realizes that she has feelings for him. He isn't too sure of his feelings , and he wants to take it slow. They can't have a normal relationship. We see her friends and she even tries out for a show. We also see what's happening with Sam and Jordan.
I loved the chapter titles and that Maya was trying things on her own. I loved that they were slow to act on their feelings but they both ended up helping each other from that one day.

Valor isn't quite what it seems . She is curious about her dad, and also what's going on in the country since a Credit Card company now collecting on its debts. Very interesting ending.

During the year she gets to know him and she also makes friends with some kids from school. She also finds some romance.

This book was thought provoking about love, gender, and freedom. I didn't know what to expect from this book and was surprised that this was from Desert book. I am curious if there is going to be another book or this is a stand alone. ?

Cass has lived on Camp Home which is an island for the past 7 years with Solomon. She and her brother Jordi are the only ones left of their family. A guy comes to the island , and he is taken prisoner.
Cass and the boy break out and go look for her brother who was taken. She also learns more about what happened after the incident with the Fearless. The boy --Myo has his sister and he isn't what he seems. Things are happening on the island with Sol & he is questioning things too. The Fearless reminded me of zombies.

I struggled to finish this book . Many things I thought would happen did. Cass did find love and the guy who did love her  had some issues. Now when I think of the word Fearless ..I will think of Zombies. I really wanted to stop reading this book , but a part of me wanted to see how this was going to play out.

wow what and ending. I loved seeing the gang again. I loved Daphne, Tobin and Hayden. I enjoyed Lexie's friendship with the gang. Many secrets were revealed, and who you thought was the bad guy really wasn't. OMG I need to know what happens next with them. Sorry for the short review but this book was amazing. I adore this series and this author.

Seraphina is on a mission a find others like her . She is also on the Queen's request on this journey.  She does meet and find others like herself. We also find more about her mind garden and those that were in it. Her half sister Jammoula  is taking control of others, and using it to her advantage. Kriggs and Seraphina do have some romance but those felt like stolen moments.

Seraphina does grow along this journey and makes more friends. She also learns more about the Saints.

This book was tough to get back into after so long. I also found the romance lacking , but the world building was amazing. I loved that there were so many characters that were half dragons. I always enjoy Ooma and Aldo . I didn't like the ending but I had some questions about it .

Lou makes a cake for Delvin and finds him with a girl . Al is on his way to the Luella's to review the food. It isn't a good rating for the place.

They meet later at a pub and they decide to out and she is going to show him the best of the town. They decide not to discuss their jobs. She only knows that he is freelance writer. He starts liking the city more , and she starts getting happy. He shows her a review of a place that they ate at together.

Many secrets come out during this book and there is romance between Al and Lou. This book was great about the food and the city. I loved that Lou had such great friends . I stayed up late reading this book . I loved the little moments between Lou and Al where they are trying to figure out their relationship.

Kaye is trying to do it all her senior year. Sawyer and Kaye both have class leadership  and cheer.  He always asks outrageous questions to Kaye , but he is completely serious . Kaye is also having some issues with Homecoming. Sawyer and Kaye are having some discussions over many things.

Things start changing over talking , friends, and dreams. Kaye doesn't know her future , and neither does Sawyer but they help each other out.

I loved seeing everybody from the other books. I loved Sawyer and Kaye and they are hot together. I adored Sawyer in /out of the Penguin suit. I adored all the friends from the other books were in this book.

Lila is going through her mom clothes and realizes that there is gold mine and an easy way to help with those bills. She also starts making girl friends and helping them out too. Lila and her mom set up shop and things just seem to happen.

She also goes on dates with both men , and realizes that she is attracted to another one.

Very cute story and I loved that this was a different romance and that it was lot of team work with the store and with the relationship.

Mare is a red and lives in the village. She also has a talent of being a pickpocket.  She goes with her sister to the silver village, and she learns of the Red Guard. She also meets Cal , who saves her friend Kilborn from joining the service and gets her a job. Kilborn is her best friend.

She feels the electricity and at an unopportune time, she releases it. She becomes a long lost daughter and living in the palace. She is now betrothed Maven who is Cal's brother. Both of them have powers too.

Mare wants to help the Red Guard and she knows not to trust anyone. She ends up having some romance with Cal , and gets to know Maven better. She also gets some help from Julian.

This book was a wild ride. Mare doesn't really pick anyone but there is a triangle. I loved learning about this world . This did remind me of Xmen. This book has many twists and turns. I am so glad that this book lived up to the hype.

Darrow is a Red and works hard on the planet. He works in the mine.  His wife dies while protesting and her song gets played over the universe. Darrow doesn't really have anything left to live for at all. He get recruited to go into the Golds and help the cause. Darrow also gets some changes made to his body too. Darrow gets into and recruited for the Command school. The kids are all placed in different houses , and they take over them. He meets Mustang , who helps him ,and not. Jackal is a player in this games. Servo is one of his friends who helps him out.

This book was action packed and full of mythology and slight romance.

Darrow is back again this time helping Lord of Mars. He is the favorite son with him. He wants to do more for the Sons of Ares , but still waiting. Mustang is with Cassius. Darrow is still having so many issues and thinks that he can do it all. He gets brought down , and makes some poor choices . He also wants to be more Honest with Mustang. Jackal is there , and I still don't trust him. Servo is there to help his friend out. Darrow also tries to make allies , but this is a war time. He intends to make some changes within it , but he also realizes more about the Golds, Blues, and even the Obsidian's.

OMG that ending . I love the world building and such many great characters. I ship a couple too :)

Cute story but it felt like there was more telling than showing. I didn't quite connect to this story . There was a situation that seemed rushed , but it never brought up again.

Hallelujah has been bullied by Luke over an incident. She is up on a church retreat with other teens. Jonah is friends with Luke , and was her friend for some time. Rachel is a girl who befriends Hallie for the first time.

They are on a hike up in the mountains and these 3 decide to leave the group . They are trying to get back home and down the mountain. Hallie, Rachel , and Jonah get turned around and lost. They are unprepared . God comes up a lot in this book , along with praying. Many things come to light during the hike during the week .

This was a fast read and I enjoyed it very much. It wasn't preachy at all. I loved that everyone helped each other with their issues.

Layla inherits a valley full of roses. Matthew has been working and running the valley. He has been taking care of it and he feels its him.

He is drunk and very attracted to Layla. They end up kissing on his birthday. She loves the land , and it opens up her creative juices. They are attracted to each other , and not the other cousins that live around there. She is singer that goes by the name belle. This almost  reminded me of Beauty and the Beast but with roses. Matt could be such a grumpy bear. I loved the sexy times.

I enjoyed reading this new series and this reminded me that  I needed to read her other books in her Chocolate series with Patrick, Dom, and Luc.

She also realizes that the business isn't doing so good. While there in Chicago , she renovates her mom's hair business, and hangs out with Johnny. She also makes peace with a enemy of the business and a childhood friend.

This book was a fast read and wasn't too spiritual and a light read. I loved that she was make peace with someone, and find some romance.
